child adhd assessment.
positive, neuro-affirming nice guidance assessment.

what?
An in-depth, strengths-based assessment designed to help you understand how your child’s brain works; especially around attention, regulation, focus, organisation, and energy. We explore how these characteristics show up across different settings and stages of development, with a compassionate lens that sees beyond behaviour.

All of our clinicians are neurodivergent; brining years of professional and lived experience.

how?
Completed in line with NICE guidelines, our process is collaborative, thorough, and affirming. All clinicians involved are neurodivergent, bringing lived experience and deep understanding to the work.
The assessment includes:
-
Pre-assessment questionnaires for home, school, and (where appropriate) the young person themselves
-
A child observation session tailored to their communication and comfort style
-
A parental developmental interview to explore early milestones and context using validated tools such as the DIVA Young 5 and structured observations
-
A multi-disciplinary meeting to review findings and ensure a well-rounded understanding
-
A feedback session to walk through the results together
-
A full written report with clear findings, tailored recommendations, and signposting to further support
We look beyond surface behaviours to understand what’s driving them, using a holistic and neuroaffirming approach.
