child assessment.
positive, neuro-affirming nice guidance assessment.

what?
A calm, compassionate, and neuroaffirming assessment designed to help you truly understand your child. We explore how they experience and interact with the world; through communication, play, learning, sensory processing and social moments.

This is not about ticking boxes; it’s about building a clear, accurate picture of your child’s strengths, needs, and unique perspective.

All assessments are carried out by highly specialist neurodivergent professionals who have years of professional and lived experience.
how?
We follow NICE guidelines and use gold-standard tools such as elements of structured observations, the ADOS and MIGDAS alongside:

-
Pre-assessment questionnaires for home, school, and (where appropriate) the young person themselves
-
A child observation session tailored to their communication and comfort style
-
A parental developmental interview to explore early milestones, patterns, and context
-
A multi-disciplinary meeting to review findings and ensure a well-rounded understanding
-
A feedback session to walk through the results together
-
A full written report with clear findings, tailored recommendations, and signposting to further support
The process is gentle, child-led, and designed to help your child feel safe, seen, and understood
